Kosovo Police removed a banner reading “Students Are Winning” in Laplje Selo on Thursday evening, Radio Kim reported. Police had initially stopped its installation earlier in the day, then withdrew before returning to remove it shortly after 6 p.m. A billboard featuring Nenad Rasic and his party's insignia remained at the site. Igor Jovanovic of the Freedom, Justice and Survival party confirmed that his party had financed the banner in support of the Student List contesting Serbia's October 25 parliamentary elections. Kosovo Police have previously said campaigning for Serbian elections is not permitted in Kosovo.
