Brnabic: Constitutive session of parliament after final election results
Serbian Parliament Speaker and Acting President Ana Brnabic said she will convene the constitutive session of the new parliament as soon as the Republic Election Commission (RIK) announces the final results of the October 25 elections. RIK member David Krstic said the final election results are expected no later than early next week and added that the constitutive session could be held by December 10 at the latest, while presidential elections, if scheduled for December 27, would have to be called by November 26. She told the pro-Vucic regime TV Pink that mandates of the new MPs would be confirmed then and the statutory period to form a new government would begin.
