RTS: Another person arrested over alleged plot to incite violence on Serbia's election day
Another man from Novi Sad has been arrested as part of an ongoing operation targeting suspects accused of allegedly planning violence and unrest in Belgrade on the day of Serbia's parliamentary elections, October 25, Serbian public broadcaster RTS reported. Authorities reportedly found improvised explosive devices, dangerous weapons and protective equipment believed to have been intended for use during the alleged unrest. According to RTS, the latest arrest is linked to an investigation involving a group allegedly led by M.V., who was arrested three days earlier. RTS reported that a large quantity of improvised explosive devices, various dangerous weapons made from metal nails, bulletproof vests, helmets and pyrotechnic devices were discovered in the possession of the newly arrested suspect.
