Students call for boycott of media outlets that labeled them “Ustasha and terrorists”
The Student Movement on Tuesday called on all parliamentary candidates from the “Students Win” list to refuse communication with media outlets that previously labeled them Ustasha (WWII-era Croatian fascists) and terrorists. “We are asking everyone to refrain from giving any statements - whether written or oral, on the street or anywhere else, on any topic - to tabloids and pro-regime television channels, including Alo, Kurir, Srbija Danas, Politika, Vecernje Novosti, Blic, Prva, and B92,” the message said. “Until yesterday, these people were writing articles calling us Ustasha and terrorists, and now they are trying to switch sides,” the students noted in the message sent to all parliamentary candidates on their electoral list.
