Election Victory celebrated in Belgrade, Novi Sad

Thousands converged on central Belgrade on Sunday night to celebrate the Student List victory at the early parliamentary elections. The crowds gathered in front of parliament and flooded the park in front of the Serbian Presidency building which was the stronghold of regime supporters for more than 18 months. Members of the crowd carried away all kinds of souvenirs from the park which was named Caciland. Tents and furniture were set ablaze. Tens of thousands also gathered at the central Slavija Square where the final Student List campaign rally was held just days earlier.
