The Center for Free Elections and Democracy (CeSID) said that it recorded more than 300 reports of irregularities by the time polls closed at 8 pm during Serbia’s snap parliamentary elections held on Sunday. CeSid said on its website that the most significant issues included procedural flaws in organizing off-site voting, reports of people voting without showing valid identification, repeated instances of voters photographing their ballots, and family or group voting. New complaints also pointed to poorly managed polling boards, malfunctioning voter verification equipment, temporary disruptions to voting, and various obstacles preventing citizens from exercising their right to vote, the Center said.
