Riot-control Gendarmerie vehicles spotted in central Belgrade on election day

Several Serbian Gendarmerie vehicles designed for riot control and dispersing demonstrators were spotted in central Belgrade on Sunday, as the country holds snap parliamentary elections. The vehicles were filmed at the intersection of Kneza Milosa and Kralja Milana streets, near London Square, heading toward Terazije. They were allowed through a police blockade that had closed traffic on Kneza Milosa Street. N1 readers also reported seeing a convoy of approximately 20 Gendarmerie vehicles traveling toward Belgrade on the Belgrade–Nis highway earlier in the day.
