MoD ends cooperation with RTS on decades-old military show

The Ministry of Defense terminated its cooperation agreement with Radio TV Serbia (RTS) on the production of the long-running military show Dozvolite…, ending a partnership that dates back decades. The ministry said the decision, effective November 5, followed what it described as the RTS's repeated failure to meet contractual obligations despite several months of attempts to resolve the disagreements. The weekly show has been on the air for decades, first on TV Belgrade and then on its successor the RTS, presenting the life of the military. A MoD statement said the RTS would no longer be authorized to produce new episodes using the ministry's or Serbian Armed Forces' logos and insignia, or to present military personnel as authors or contributors. It added that it is distancing itself from all episodes not broadcast by November 5.
