EXIT Festival to return home

The EXIT Festival said it will return to Novi Sad's Petrovaradin Fortress in July 2027 with a special event celebrating freedom, unity and love. Organizers said earlier that they planned to bring the festival back to Novi Sad in 2028. An Instagram post said that thousands of messages from fans persuaded them to bring the festival back a year earlier. EXIT left Serbia after its 2025 edition and held events abroad in 2026. The festival started as a once-off event in 2000 but turned into a form of rebellion against the Milosevic regime.
