Macut: EU membership remains our strategic goal

Serbian caretaker Prime Minister Djuro Macut said that achieving full membership in the European Union (EU) remains the country’s strategic goal. On Thursday, Macut took part in a panel discussion titled “A Region in Motion: The Western Balkans Shaping Europe’s Shared Future”, held as part of the Berlin Process Leaders’ Summit in Sveti Stefan, Montenegro, the Serbian Government said in a press release. The press release noted that Macut emphasized Serbia’s unwavering commitment to implementing reforms under the Growth Plan for the Western Balkans, with the aim of gradually integrating the country into the EU single market, which serves as a crucial milestone toward full membership.
