Jovo Bakic: All ties between the state and organized crime must be severed

Jovo Bakic, a candidate on the Student List, which won the parliamentary vote on Sunday, believes that the most important task for the next government will be to fight organized crime. “We must sever all ties between the state and organized crime, and then crack down on organized crime - which can never be completely eradicated - to the greatest extent possible,” Bakic told the daily Danas. He said that he has a plan in mind, although he does not know at this point whether he would be the one to put it into action or whether someone else would take the lead.
