Brkic, Carnie agree on the need to strengthen Bosnia-US partnership

Deputy Foreign Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina Josip Brkic met Tuesday with Amy Carnie, Director of the Office of Western and Central European Affairs at the US Department of State, to discuss the current political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with particular emphasis on the implementation of election results following the general elections. The interlocutors stressed the importance of institutional stability, functional institutions and constructive political dialogue to ensure the implementation of election results and the continuation of reform processes. The meeting also addressed the Southern Gas Interconnection project, its strategic importance for Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the need to continue efforts towards its implementation.
